About Broad Meadow Farm

Beautiful things. Made for everyday life.

I believe the things we use every day deserve to be both beautiful and practical.

Broad Meadow Farm is built on that simple idea.

I started making soap because I needed something my own skin would be happy with.

I kept making it because I genuinely love making soap.

There's something incredibly satisfying about watching colours come together, texturing the tops, and cutting into a fresh loaf to see how each bar turned out. Even after all this time, that moment never gets old.

Making soap gives me the chance to be creative while creating something people will actually use. I love designing bars that smell amazing, feel good on your skin, and look beautiful beside the sink. To me, the best products aren't just nice to look at—they earn their place in everyday life.

That's how I approach everything I make.

Every batch is handcrafted here on our Alberta farm with care and attention to detail. If a bar doesn't meet my standards, it doesn't make it onto the shelf. I care deeply about how each bar looks, smells, and feels because I want you to enjoy using it from the first lather to the very last sliver.

My hope is simple: that Broad Meadow Farm becomes one of those brands you come back to because you love using the products just as much as I love making them.

I'm so glad you're here.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our handmade soaps are crafted in small batches right here on the farm using traditional cold-process methods. We use natural oils, farm-grown botanicals whenever possible, and essential oils to create gentle, nourishing bars.

Our soaps are not vegan because they contain tallow, an animal-derived ingredient. They are made with nourishing natural oils and butters, including coconut oil, olive oil, tallow, shea butter, avocado oil, and castor oil. We do not use synthetic fragrances, parabens, or harsh chemicals, and use natural colorants and essential oils.

Our soaps are formulated to be gentle and moisturizing, making them suitable for most skin types including sensitive skin. However, we recommend checking the ingredient list if you have specific allergies.

Store your soap in a dry, well-ventilated area between uses. Use a soap dish with drainage to help your bar last longer. Keep it away from direct water spray in the shower.

Our handmade soaps have a shelf life of approximately 12 months or longer when stored properly in a cool, dry place. The scent may fade over time, but the soap remains effective and safe to use.
