How Does a Soap Fundraiser Work?

How Does a Soap Fundraiser Work?

Fundraisers don’t need to be complicated.

The Broad Meadow Farm soap fundraiser is pretty simple: your group sells the soap, I make it, and your group keeps 30% of sales.

Here’s how it works

1. Choose your fundraiser dates.
Most groups sell for about 2–3 weeks.

2. Take orders.
Your supporters choose from six Broad Meadow Farm soaps. There’s no inventory for your group to purchase upfront.

3. Send me your final order.
Once your fundraiser closes, I get to work making your soap.

4. Your group keeps 30%.
You raise money, and your supporters get something they’ll actually use.

Who can fundraise?

The program can work well for schools, grad groups, sports teams, clubs and community organizations in Alberta.

And apparently the soap can create a few new fans along the way. One customer who first bought through a grad fundraiser recently came back and ordered seven more bars.

I’ll take that. 😂
