Fundraising with Broad Meadow Farm

A Fresh Take on Fundraising — With Handmade Soap

Looking for a fundraiser that’s simple, meaningful, and a great alternative to chocolate bars or raffles? I’ve created a soap fundraiser program designed for schools, teams, clubs, and community groups that want something a little more beautiful and practical.

At Broad Meadow Farm, I make small-batch, cold-process soap right here near Carstairs, Alberta. Each bar is handmade with care using plant-based oils, tallow, and essential oils — no harsh detergents or synthetic fragrances, just skin-loving ingredients that are gentle and nourishing.

This fundraiser is a great fit for:

  • Schools
  • Dance studios
  • Sports teams
  • Clubs and community groups
  • Anyone looking to support something local, high-quality, and unique

Each bar sells for $12, with your group earning $3.50 per bar sold. Scents include customer favourites like Lavender, Honey Lemon, Coconut & Rose, and more — plus an unscented option for sensitive skin.

The process is simple:

  1. Launch your fundraiser and collect orders (2–3 weeks)
  2. Submit totals and payment
  3. I make the soap fresh, and it cures for 4 weeks
  4. About 5 weeks after your order, it’s all delivered — wrapped, labelled, and ready to hand out

There are no minimums, and delivery is easy to coordinate. It’s a fundraiser your supporters will actually use — and it supports a local Alberta maker (that’s me!).
