Why I Started Making Soap for Sensitive Skin (When Natural Wasn’t Enough)
When “Natural” Products Still Caused Reactions
I didn’t start making soap because it looked fun or trendy. I started because I needed products that didn’t make my skin react.
I tried the “natural” options. I read labels. I spent more money hoping that would fix the problem. And still, I ended up with irritation, dryness, or that uncomfortable tight feeling that lingers long after a shower.
Why I Chose to Make My Own Soap
Eventually, I realized I needed to know exactly what was going into the products I used every day — and that meant making them myself.
Soap making taught me that natural doesn’t always mean gentle. Essential oils can still cause reactions. Beautiful ingredients can still be too much for sensitive skin. And sometimes, simpler really is better.
Keeping Ingredients Simple on Purpose
So I began formulating soaps with a focus on function first: gentle cleansing, nourishing oils, and minimal ingredients. Some bars are completely unscented. Others are lightly scented with essential oils — only when they truly serve the product.
Every batch I make is small, intentional, and created with real people in mind — wether I make unscented or scented bars—it’s for those who’ve struggled to find products their skin can tolerate.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about care. And it’s the reason I’m proud to offer soap that I trust on my own skin.
From blooms to bars — created with love
