From My Hands to Yours: Why I Started Making Soap
If you’ve ever struggled with skin sensitivities, allergies or the overwhelming list of ingredients on store-bought products, you’re not alone. That’s where this all began for me.
I didn’t set out to start a soap business. I just wanted something simple — something that didn’t make my skin react. Something I could feel safe using every day.
So I started learning, testing, and slowly crafting bars of soap the old-fashioned way — cold-pressed, small-batch and full of care. Before long, I was making shampoo and conditioner bars too. And once I found recipes that felt gentle, nourishing, and genuinely good — I knew I wanted to share them.
What Makes These Bars Special?
These bars are:
Cold-pressed and handmade right here on the farm
Made in small batches, with a focus on quality over quantity
Scented only with essential oils, or left unscented for those who need it
Created with careful attention to ingredients, because I know how much that matters
This isn’t about luxury. It’s about honesty. About giving your skin something it doesn’t have to fight against. About simple self-care that feels real and grounded.
Why Now?
After years of growing plants and connecting with people who care about what they put in their gardens, it only made sense to offer something thoughtful for your body too. Whether you're planting petunias or washing off the day, I hope these bars become a quiet little joy in your routine — like a soft breeze or a patch of sunshine.
Come See What’s New
You can now find these soap, shampoo, and conditioner bars at the greenhouse. No shipping, no pressure — just something I believe in, waiting for the right hands to take it home.
Thanks for supporting not just the plants, but this next little branch of Broad Meadow Farm.
From blooms to bars — created with love 🌸 🫧
